When starting with a tutor, making significant progress often relies on having as full a picture as possible of a learner’s current progress, attainment, and outlook.
By conducting preliminary assessments for our students, as well as using insights from school and parent reports where applicable, we can build a series of recommendations tailored to the individual student.
Location Doesn’t Matter
One advantage is that online tutoring can be done from anywhere in the world as long as there is an Internet connection. This means that people who live in remote areas or who cannot afford to travel to a traditional brick-and-mortar school can still get a quality education. Whether one is in the USA or Rwanda, tutoring resources are available online!
#1: Set daily goals for studying:
Ask yourself what you hope to accomplish in your course each day. Setting a clear goal can help you stay motivated and beat procrastination. The goal should be specific and easy to measure, such as “I’ll watch all the videos in Module 2 and complete the first programming assignment.” And don’t forget to reward yourself when you make progress towards your goal!
